Frequently asked questions

How does Jedah handle candidate consent?

Every candidate sees an in-meeting banner the moment Jedah begins analysis — they know what's being processed and why. We default to opt-in for transcript retention, and you can disable analysis entirely per-interview if your jurisdiction requires it. Consent UX is a first-class feature, not an afterthought.

What does Jedah do with the audio?

Audio is processed in transit by our scoring pipeline and is never stored at rest by default. Transcripts are retained only when the interviewer explicitly opts in, with a 90-day default lifecycle. You can read the full data flow in our privacy policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Email support@jedah.ai from the account owner's address and we'll cancel within one business day, no questions asked. Your data is exported on request and purged within 30 days of cancellation.

Can I export my candidate evaluations?

Yes. Every scored interview can be exported as XLSX with color-coded rubric scores, structured fields for ATS handoff, and a full transcript appendix if you retained one. Bulk export of your full evaluation history is available from the team dashboard.

Does Jedah work with Microsoft Teams or Google Meet?

Today, Jedah ships as a Zoom App and a standalone web tool that works on any meeting platform with screen-share audio. Native Teams and Meet integrations are on the roadmap — email us if your team needs them and we'll prioritize accordingly.

What's the difference between the standalone tool and the Zoom App?

The standalone tool runs in your browser and captures meeting audio locally — works anywhere, requires no admin install. The Zoom App lives inside the Zoom client itself, gets cleaner audio via Zoom's RTMS feed, and surfaces the rubric in a side panel without window-switching. Most teams start standalone and migrate to the Zoom App once admin approval is in place.

How accurate is the AI scoring?

Jedah's scoring is a structured second opinion, not a verdict. Internal benchmarks show high agreement with calibrated human interviewers on rubric-aligned dimensions, but we surface confidence levels and source quotes for every score so you can sanity-check the model's reasoning. The human interviewer makes the call.

Can I customize the rubric?

Yes. You can edit dimension weights, add or remove competencies, and define your own scoring anchors. We ship with the Lou Adler 10-Factor and Dennis Wood HPF templates pre-configured, but most customers tune them against their own performance data within the first two weeks.
